About SWC

Sleep Wellness Consultancy was founded in 2015 by Annemieke Deiman. Annemieke has a university degree in Psychology (University of Groningen, 2006) and has further specialized in Orthomolecular Nutrition, Behavioral Sleep Medicine and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i). After five years of working in the occupational health and safety world as a vitality & health consultant, she set up her own company to work as a sleep psychologist, trainer and lifestyle coach. Initially in the Antilles and since 2018 in the Netherlands.

Annemieke shares her holistic knowledge about sleep and health in an enthusiastic and inspiring way. “You have to take care of yourself before you can take care of others” is a phrase you will certainly hear her say in one of her workshops or during individual consultations. With practical tools and a listening ear, Annemieke helps people on their way to a more rested life. She herself knows what it is like to experience sleeping problems, but now she (almost) always sleeps well!

Sleep is a basic necessity of life. You can exercise fanatically and eat healthy, but if you don’t sleep well, you still don’t feel vital. Your body recovers best during sleep. You sleep a third of your life for a reason!

By optimizing sleep quality and sleep duration, the quality of life is increased. A healthy night’s sleep is necessary for a healthy body and a healthy mind.

Sleep Wellness Consultancy’s mission is to ‘wake up’ people and create awareness about the importance of prioritizing sleep. Through better hours of sleep, people experience a higher quality of life and prevent diseases. Sleep Wellness Consultancy wants to contribute to a positive movement in society through training and coaching on the subject of sleep.
